Considered one of Udenland’s most important villages, since all overseas trade pass through its ports, Wormshead is the largest town on Udenland’s western shores and is also a unique cultural center. It is home to many dangerous seafaring types who work the ships and docks. Others are drawn there by the relative low cost of living which is why you will find many of your sensitive artists types living in the weathered building along the waterfront. Here you can find theaters, galleries and music halls adjoining taverns and jailhouses. This intersection of the arts and thugery makes for an interesting melting pot of random violence and creative thought. Tourists flock to Wormshead every summer in order to witness the inevitable brawls between the drunken hooligans and the introspective avant-garde of Udenland. The displaced fishing community that founded Wormshead have long since move north along the coast in order to avoid increasing threat of assault and pretentious behavior.
Having survived a rather annoying encounter with the Sacred and Lethal monks our knights now approach Wormshead. Here they must find a ship to carry them and Nigel across the Tempest Sea to Vlodstonia, the last known location of the Mystic Painting of Donotalado. Of course Wormshead is the first bit of civilization they’ve seen in several weeks; hopefully they can keep focused on the task at hand and avoid getting into trouble, which will be difficult considering a menace from Cottington’s past has been waiting to take revenge.
