The Secret of Donotalado,
ACT XIII
The knights have arrived in Wormshead in order to hire a ship to carry them to Vlodstonia and continue their search for the Mystic Painting of Donotalado (remember that thing). But, due to the fact that Sir Cottington has the attention span of a toddler and can’t resist the temptation of visiting The Mermaid, one of Wormshead many drinking establishments, they find themselves in deep water once again. While enjoying their libations they discovery that one of Sir Cottington's well executed acts of cowardice from his past seems to have had consequences that may cost him his life, and possible Sir Bratwursts as well.

Though many visit Wormshead for the eclectic cultural diversity, it is also renown as a community where discretion is a virtue held in high esteem. If you should find yourself in need to transport items of questionable ownership, or perhaps you discover that you, yourself, require a surreptitious exit from Udenland, Wormshead would prove to be an idea place in which to find those willing to assist. The notorious illicit underground of Wormshead is the foundation of the local economy. Though tourism does indeed contribute the monetary life of Wormshead it is the population of black marketeers’ and smugglers that drive the economy. Graft encourages local politicians to turn a blind eye to the shady dealings that are pervasive throughout town.
A frequent visitor to Wormshead, Captain Scrimshaw is one of the most notoriously cunning entrepreneurs operating within the underground. Her time at sea has left her looking weathered beyond her years, but she is fiercely intelligent, extremely knowledgeable of the sea and a more than a bit ornery. Much of her business is legitimate, but she is more than willing to earn some extra gold without asking too many question when the opportunity arises. Just what our knights are looking for, don’t you agree?
